QR Forge

Introduction

BigDevelop (“we,” “our,” or “us”) built QR Forge as a privacy-focused QR code generator. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and use. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

The short version: QR Forge does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All QR codes are generated entirely on your device and never leave it unless you explicitly choose to share them.

All QR code generation in QR Forge happens entirely on your device. This means:

• No data is sent to our servers or any third-party servers
• The text, URLs, WiFi credentials, or any other content you encode stays on your device
• Generated QR code images are stored locally until you choose to save or share them
• Customization settings (colors, dot styles, logos) are processed on-device

QR Forge may request access to your photo library for two specific purposes:

• Saving QR codes: To save your generated QR codes to your Photos app
• Importing center logos: To select an image from your library to use as a logo overlay on your QR code

Photo library access is entirely optional and initiated only by your explicit action. We do not access, scan, or upload any of your photos. The images you select for logos are processed locally and never leave your device.

QR Forge does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use:

• Google Analytics or any analytics SDK
• Advertising networks or ad SDKs
• Crash reporting services
• User tracking or behavior analytics
• Social media SDKs that collect data

The app contains no advertisements of any kind.

QR Forge does not transmit any data to servers. The app works completely offline after installation. No internet connection is required to generate, customize, or export QR codes. When you use the share or export features, data goes directly to your chosen destination (Messages, Email, etc.) through Apple's system share sheet — we never see or intercept this data.

QR Forge is rated 4+ and is safe for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information, there is no risk of collecting data from children. The app can be used by anyone without providing any personal information.

Since all processing happens on your device and we do not collect or transmit any information, your data security is maintained by your device's built-in security features. We recommend:

• Keeping your device's operating system up to date
• Using a device passcode or biometric lock
• Being mindful of what you share using the export features

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
