By downloading, installing, or using MacroSnapper (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and BigDevelop (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

Description of Service

MacroSnapper is an AI-powered calorie and macro tracking application. The App allows you to photograph food for AI-based nutritional analysis, manually enter food and macro data, set daily nutritional goals, and track your daily intake. The AI analysis feature requires a user-provided OpenAI API key.

MacroSnapper is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The nutritional estimates provided by the AI are approximations and should not be relied upon for medical dietary requirements. The App is intended for general informational and tracking purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian for personalized nutritional advice, especially if you have specific dietary needs, allergies, or medical conditions.

AI Accuracy Disclaimer

The AI-powered food analysis feature provides estimated nutritional information. These estimates may not be accurate for all foods, portion sizes, or preparations. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any nutritional data provided by the AI. You acknowledge that AI estimates may vary and should be used as general guidance only.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with OpenAI's API for food photo analysis. Your use of this feature is also subject to OpenAI's terms of use and privacy policy. You are responsible for obtaining and managing your own OpenAI API key and any costs associated with its use. We are not responsible for any charges incurred through your OpenAI account.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for safeguarding your OpenAI API key
• You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes
• You will not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
• You acknowledge that nutritional estimates are approximate

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BigDevelop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health outcomes based on nutritional information provided, costs from third-party API usage, or loss of data. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including design, code, and branding, are owned by BigDevelop. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
